One Year Colorado-Versary

It's hard to believe one year has passed since we landed at the Durango airport and stepped into a new life in the Rocky Mountain State.

Twelve months ago our realtor was listed as an emergency school contact at school for our kids since we quite literally knew NO ONE.  Now we've settled into a place that's easily become home (and have new emergency contacts).  The boys have settled in at new schools with new friends, I've transitioned from Pediatrics to Home Health and Hospice, and Corey went back to work after a long hiatus of being primary at-home parent.

Favorite things:
  • no "yard" at home, just expansiveness
  • driving dirt roads every day
  • the clouds and mountains
  • the slower, low-key place
  • no traffic, one-lane roads
  • lakes, rivers, and streams
  • the autonomy and flexibility of work
  • taking Bidwell to work
